Annual exams should be scheduled every year
to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The entire 30-60 minute visit
is spent with a female provider.
Annual exams include:
• Complete history
• Physical
• Pelvic exam and pap smear
• Breast exam
• Birth control counseling (as needed)
• Treatment of gynecological problems,
including:
- Vaginitis (Yeast infections, BV, etc.)
- Heavy, painful or irregular periods
- Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)
- Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs)
